Kinsale & District Lions Club members were out in force for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Kinsale, enjoying a fantastic day at the very heart of our community. The parade once again highlighted the strong spirit of togetherness that defines both Kinsale and Lionism, with a great turnout from our dedicated and active membership.
Living the values of Lionism—service, friendship, and community—our members proudly engaged with the crowds, sharing smiles and distributing Lion Bars, which were warmly received by young and old alike. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community we serve and to showcase the positive impact of our work.
A sincere thank you to Lion Tomás O’Donovan and team MMD for providing support vehicles and lion bars, kindly organised by Lion PJ Power, whose efforts ensured the day ran smoothly. We were especially honoured to receive the Eileen Murphy Spirit of Kinsale Award from the organising committee. This recognition reflects the commitment of our members and the enduring bond between the Lions Club and the Kinsale community.
Thanks to all members for their super volunteerism. Our club continues to thrive and make an impact in the community.
