October 9th at Kinsale Hotel & Spa

Uniting Local Businesses, Community Groups & Organisations for Charity – With Economist Jim Power & Minister Jack Chambers TD
Kinsale, Co. Cork – The Kinsale & District Lions Club is proud to announce the return of its flagship fundraising event, the Budget Breakfast Briefing 2026, on Thursday, 9th October 2025 at the Kinsale Hotel & Spa — just 48 hours after Budget 2026 is presented in the Dáil. In proud partnership with Chartered Accountants Ireland Cork Society, this much-loved event brings together local businesses, community groups, organisations, and civic leaders in a unique blend of professional insight and charitable action. Last year’s Breakfast Briefing completely sold out and was hailed as a huge success, with strong local participation and record-breaking fundraising for good causes. This year, there is already huge interest, and the Breakfast Briefing has firmly become a major annual event in the Kinsale calendar.

“To have top experts such as Jim Power and Minister Jack Chambers give their overview and analysis of Budget 2026 in the same week it is announced makes this year’s event extra special,” said Cormac Fitzgerald FCPA FCA, President of Kinsale Lions Club. “We sincerely thank all members of Kinsale Lions Club, our organising committee, and everyone who has already booked in for their support.”
