We are thrilled for 2025 to bring you the popular Budget Breakfast Briefing with leading Economist Jim Power and we will also have a special guest giving an analysis and overview of Budget 2026 from some of the Country’s leading experts. Last year was a sellout event and this charity fundraiser is supporting the paediatric ward of the emergency department at Cork University Hospital, supporting ED and childhood cancer, collaborating with CUH Charity.
There will be a raffle on the morning and we are delighted this year to collaborate with the Chartered Accountants Ireland Cork Society. The event will take place on the 9th October at Kinsale Hotel & Spa and last year was supported by all leading businesses, clubs and organisations in a sellout event. All proceeds from the event will go to charity. Last year, funds were raised for the Childhood Cancer Paediatric Emergency Department at Cork University Hospital. This year’s charity partner will be announced soon, along with our invited guests-speakers. Stay tuned for updates, and book early to guarantee your spot at this professional and impactful event. Last year’s event attracted an array of attendees from across the business, community, agricultural, fishing, emergency services, SME sectors, alongside local groups and organisations , who gathered to hear from a prestigious lineup of guest speakers chaired by Gerry O Dwyer with Dr. Clodagh Ryan from Cork University Hospital, renowned economist Jim Power, and Minister for Finance Jack Chambers TD, all delivered insightful presentations on key topics, including the current economic landscape and an in-depth analysis of the recent budget. Cormac Fitzgerald FCPA FCA, President of the Kinsale Lions Club, also addressed the conference, highlighting the importance of local businesses and community involvement and it finished with a raffle officiated by Con Cadogan.
